Terms of Service

Welcome to Zayzin. These terms govern the relationship between you and Zayzin when you use our website, applications, or any of our services. By creating an account, purchasing a product, or publishing a design, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree to any provision, please do not use the site.

a. Registration requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent.
• You must provide true and accurate information (name, email, mobile number).
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password. Any activity carried out from your account is deemed to be performed by you.
• Creating more than one account for the same person or using fictitious information is prohibited.

b. Account suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account at any time if you breach any provision of these terms, with notice of the reason provided to you by email.

c. Account deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion will not be completed if you have orders in progress, an unwithdrawn wallet balance, or open disputes.

3. Use of the Editor and Designs

a. Ownership of your designs

However, as soon as you upload/publish a design on the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

• Print it on the products you order.
• Display it in the store (if you publish it as a designer).
• Use a mockup image of it to promote the Platform across social media and advertising.

This license terminates automatically if you delete the design from your account (except for its use in orders fulfilled prior to deletion).

b. Prohibited content

It is strictly prohibited to upload or produce designs containing:

• Content offensive to religions, religious symbols, or prophets.
• Racist, discriminatory, or hate-inciting content.
• Pornographic or indecent content.
• Trademarks or registered marks of third parties (Nike, Apple, Disney, etc.) without a license.
• Images or artwork protected by the intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Content promoting violence or terrorism.
• Personal information of individuals without their consent.
• Content that violates Egyptian law or the laws of the destination country.

c. Content responsibility

You are legally responsible for any design you upload. Zayzin does not review every design before printing, but we reserve the right to:

• Refuse to print any design we deem infringing.
• Remove any published design upon review.
• Suspend the accounts of repeat offenders.
• Disclose your data to the authorities pursuant to a court order.

If anyone alleges infringement of their intellectual property because of your design, you bear any legal claims or damages in full.

4. Purchasing and Payment

a. Prices

All prices are in Egyptian pounds and inclusive of value-added tax (where applicable). We reserve the right to change prices at any time; however, the prices you saw at the time of order confirmation are the ones that apply to that order.

b. Payment methods

• Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Mada) via Paymob
• E-wallets (Vodafone Cash, Fawry) via Paymob
• Cash on delivery (COD) — in available governorates only

c. Order confirmation

An order is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from us. Before that, we reserve the right to decline for any reason (out of stock, pricing error, suspected fraud, etc.), with a full refund of the amount if you have paid.

d. Invoices

We send you an electronic invoice for every order to your registered email.

5. Shipping and Delivery

a. Coverage areas

We ship to all governorates of Egypt. Approximate delivery times:

• Greater Cairo: 2-4 business days
• Other governorates: 4-7 business days
• Customized products: add 2-4 production days

b. Shipping fees

These are shown on the checkout page based on your address. They may be free for orders above a certain amount.

c. Delays

In exceptional cases (weather, holidays, force majeure), delays may occur. We will notify you as soon as we know. If a delay exceeds 14 days from the expected date, you have the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund (including shipping).

d. Receipt of delivery

The customer is responsible for receiving the order from the shipping company. If delivery attempts fail due to no answer or absence, you will bear the cost of reshipment.

6. Returns and Exchanges

All returns are subject to the full Refund Policy. Quick summary:

• Customized products: not returnable (sole exception: manufacturing defects).
• Non-customized products: 14-day returns, customer bears shipping costs.
• Defective products: full return/exchange, Zayzin bears the costs.

7. Designer Program

a. Eligibility requirements

• Register complete genuine information (legal name, national ID).
• Pass the verification process (KYC).
• Agree to the additional designer terms.
• Be 18 years of age or older.

b. Ownership of published designs

• Designs remain the property of the designer.
• Upon publishing, you grant Zayzin a non-exclusive license to display, sell, and promote.
• When you remove a design from the store, licenses existing in prior orders remain in effect.

c. Pricing and Earnings — Zero Commission

• Each product in the store has a Base Price set by Zayzin that covers the product cost + printing + shipping + Zayzin's operating margin.
• The designer adds their own markup on top of the base price = their net profit.
• When a customer purchases, 100% of the markup goes to the designer.

Practical example:

• A plain t-shirt with a base price = 250 EGP (this is what Zayzin takes)
• The designer sets a markup = 100 EGP
• The customer pays: 350 EGP
• The designer receives: the full 100 EGP
• Zayzin receives: 250 EGP

Why zero commission? We believe Arab designers have been underserved for years on foreign platforms (Redbubble takes 30-50%, Society6 takes 40%+). We earn from the product, not from your creativity.

d. Payouts to designers

• Earnings appear in the designer's wallet after the cooldown period (7 days from order delivery — covering the return window for non-customized products).
• Minimum withdrawal: [to be determined] EGP.
• Payout methods: bank transfer, Vodafone Cash, InstaPay.
• Zayzin charges the designer no withdrawal fees (although the bank or wallet may charge their own fees).

e. Obligations

• Warrant the designer's ownership of every design they publish (or that they hold a valid license).
• Not publish designs that violate Section 3-b.
• Respond to buyer inquiries within 48 hours.

f. Terminating the partnership

You have the right to terminate the partnership at any time. Zayzin has the right to terminate it if:

• You breach the terms of use.
• The complaint rate on your designs exceeds 5%.
• Six months pass with no activity.

8. Reviews and Ratings

• You have the right to rate the products you have purchased.
• Ratings must be honest and based on your actual experience.
• Fake or paid-for reviews are prohibited.
• We reserve the right to remove any abusive review or one that violates community standards.
• The designer/seller cannot delete your reviews, but may respond to them publicly.

9. Platform Intellectual Property

All elements of the Zayzin platform (the design, code, logo, name, proprietary fonts, and editorial text) are the exclusive property of Zayzin. The following is prohibited:

• Copying or reusing any part of the Platform without written permission.
• Scraping data or using bots without permission.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer the code.
• Using the logo or name in a way that implies a false partnership.

10. Limitation of Liability

Zayzin provides its services "as is". To the extent permitted by law:

• We do not warrant that the site will operate without any interruption or error.
• We are not liable for any indirect damage or loss of profits or opportunities.
• Our maximum liability to you in any dispute = the value of the last order you placed during the previous 12 months.

Exceptions: personal injury, death, fraud, or any right that cannot be waived by law — these are not subject to this limitation of liability.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Zayzin for any legal claims or losses it incurs as a result of:

• Your breach of these terms.
• Content you uploaded that infringes the rights of a third party.
• Your unlawful use of the site.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These terms are governed by Egyptian law.
• The parties shall attempt to resolve any dispute amicably first.
• If that attempt fails, jurisdiction lies with the Cairo Economic Courts.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including (but not limited to):

• Natural disasters
• Wars or unrest
• Epidemics
• General internet or power outages
• Government decisions

14. Amendments to the Terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Amendments take effect 30 days after they are published. We will notify you of material amendments via:

• An email to all registered users
• A clear banner on the site for 30 days

Continued use after an amendment = acceptance of the new version. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before the amendments take effect.

15. General Provisions

• Severability: if any of these provisions is deemed legally void, the remainder shall remain in effect.
• Waiver: Zayzin's failure to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver of it.
• Language: the Arabic version is the official reference in the event of any conflict with translations into other languages.
• Entire agreement: these terms + the Privacy Policy + the Refund Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Zayzin.
